| To start the configuration of Open Transport, open up the ‘PPP Control Panel’. Enter your username and password into fields respectively. You will be prompted for a phone number. Make sure the phone number is correct, if you are unsure go to LiSP dial up numbers for a complete listing. Ensure this is a local call charge. Click on the button marked ‘Options’ to continue. |

Make sure ‘Allow error correction and compression in modem’ and use ‘TCP header compression’ are both ticked, also make sure that ‘Connect to a terminal-line host’ is unchecked. Click the button marked ‘Ok’ and open the ‘TCP/IP Control Panel’ |

Connect Via should be set to: PPP. Configure should be set to: Using PPP server NB: You will need to check your LiSP Internet Settings for your location. Name server addr should be set to: 203.21.133.124 Additional search domains: lisp.com.au Close this screen and try to connect. |
